Lies are confidants of truth. Everyone at some point in life confides in lies to protect his or her most vulnerable truth. Like the atmosphere which protects the earth from external harm, lies were initially used by humans to protect us from being harmed by external forces–other humans. Mother Nature gave us lies to use as a natural defense against the harm of others. She also gave us lies in the form of a pretense to play with life’s possibilities and impossibilities in childhood. But like everything in nature lying has evolved, from protecting us from being hurt by others to becoming a source that causes hurt to others. It has evolved from playful pretense which comes naturally with childhood to harmful pretense which is used to plague others in adulthood. The human ears are playgrounds for lies, where lie twists and turn their way through like children on slides. Like cameras, the lenses of our eyes mesmerize the acting of others. And lies flow from the tongue naturally as water from spring. Tongue lies, eyes lie, and the language of the body lies, but the energy that a person expresses towards another cannot lie, for energy is a language that lies cannot speak. For Whatever people can control they will inevitably manipulate; this is true with the words they speak, the looks they give us with their eyes, and the language that their bodies speak. But people can neither control nor manipulate the energy that they express towards others. This is why the wise listens to the energy of others whenever it speaks.
If we learn to listen to the energy that people express toward us we will never again hear lies speak.
